Naomi Chalew DPT
Naomi Chalew, PT, DPT received her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Originally from New Orleans, she fell in love with the city of Chicago and chose it to follow her long standing passion for women’s health. Her physical therapy training has involved a focus on orthopedics and sports medicine, with post-graduate manual therapy study. She combines this with her strong background in yoga and yoga therapy to provide eclectic and holistic care to her clients. Prior to joining the team at RIC, she helped establish the Center for Pelvic Health at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL. She is working towards her Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP) through the American Physical Therapy Association Section of Women’s Health. Naomi’s interests are in treating pelvic floor dysfunction in men, women and transgendered individuals, including incontinence, pelvic pain, and bowel dysfunction, musculoskeletal issues of pregnancy and post-partum, and cancer rehabilitation. Naomi has her clinical practice at the RIC Superior Street Outpatient location and the Spine & Sports Rehabilitation Center.
